Hey there! My name is Juan Esteban Rodríguez, I'm from Medellín, Colombia. I am a native Spanish speaker and I have a Cambridge certificate in English language. I have a degree in Food Science in University of Buenos Aires. I am learning German right now. Work experience: I have a job as a Science teacher in University of Buenos Aires; I have been working as a freelance English-Spanish translator through Upwork for several years; I have been giving private lessons of Science to school students for several years. I am willing to start working as a Spanish teacher as well. For intermediate level, I suggest to teach in Spanish. That's the best for an intensive practice. My German teachers have some methods to let students figure out the meaning of new words from the context, or using definitions, in order to avoid translating. I intend to make the same with Spanish. Of course I can use English if needed, but I don't think it helps. The more Spanish they hear, the more Spanish they learn.
